At Wordy Plates, we believe art does not have to be precious, expensive, or serious. We rescue pre-loved vintage plates that would otherwise be forgotten and turn them into affordable, one of a kind wall art with something to say. Sustainability, creativity, and humor are not afterthoughts here. They are the whole point.

Our Values

Sustainability We source vintage plates from estate sales, thrift stores, garage sales, and donations, keeping them out of landfills and giving them a second life as art. Every piece we sell is one less thing that got thrown away.

Creativity and Reimagination We see potential in things other people overlook. A chipped plate from a thrift store shelf becomes something someone hangs in their entryway and loves for years. That transformation is what drives us.

Affordability and Accessibility Good art should not require a gallery budget. We work hard to keep our pieces priced so that more people can own something handmade and one of a kind.
